Twilight adds drama to Tower Bridge One in Conshohocken

Half light or half dark, any way you look at it, it’s magic.

Who wouldn’t welcome a little less drama in their life? Me, that’s who. When I set out to photograph a building, be it a singular structure or part of a cityscape, I try to generate as much drama as possible. Twilight, that elusive and fleeting period between sunset and nightfall, helps me capture that feeling. It may only last between 15 and 20 minutes, but against such a backdrop, both the outside and inside of a building can be seen in sharp and often stunning clarity. Natural dramatic clarity.

As you can see here, the allure and magic of twilight adds an enhanced and tangible ambiance to both subject and scene. The sky is an active participant in the shot and serves as a deep blue backdrop to the warm lights of a vibrant city.
