At the heart of Greg Benson’s work is his passion for visual storytelling. Driven by his curiosity of places and people alike, Greg’s photography captures not just fleeting moments, but whole narratives.
Whether he’s traveling across the greater Philadelphia area or up and down the East Coast for a project, he relishes the opportunity to convey the essence of a location with a picture.
His architectural photographs fit decades of history into a single perfect shot, while his portraits showcase the drive and creativity of their subjects.
Greg earned his bachelor’s degree in art history from Cornell University and studied photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Years of experience with both traditional photographic techniques and cutting-edge digital innovations, including drones, have given Greg the ability to consistently deliver effective, powerful images that meet his clients’ diverse needs and goals. He has photographed for architects and builders, universities and hospitals, ad agencies and real estate companies, and many more.
When not behind the camera, Greg enjoys drinking coffee, visiting art museums, reading, and cheering on the Sixers.

It’s not quite clear if Paul Benson chose photography, or if photography simply chose him. In either case, the Paul that grew up watching his dad take photos from helicopters now pilots camera drones alongside Greg as the other half of Benson Photo. As the next generation of the family business, Paul uses his keen eye for editing and lighting to bring a fresh, modern energy to his and Greg’s finished photos. Upon earning a bachelor’s degree in film and media arts from Temple University, Paul brought the techniques he learned to what is now Benson Photo. After ten years as his dad’s co- pilot, Paul is ready to lead Team Benson into the future. Drone photography has been a natural extension of Paul and Greg’s longtime shared interest in flight—particularly remote-controlled aircraft—and their expertise in aerial photography creates the breathtaking bird’s-eye view images that are the signature work of Benson Photo. Outside of photography, Paul enjoys biking on the Schuylkill River Trail and playing music.
