And in the case of building photography, a drone is essential to getting the big picture—both conceptually and literally.
Many of our residential subjects have upscale indoor amenities and shiny new features that can easily advertise themselves, but a drone photograph completes the package by showing off courtyards and outdoor amenities.

Drones also allow us to highlight nearby natural features that complement a structure’s purpose or theme. A view of the river or ocean adds to the summertime-fun vibes of boathouses and water parks.

Knowing that workers would be busy completing touch-ups on the ground level, I took most of my shots from platforms around the park. I also repeated some of my overview shots at different times throughout the shoot, so that I could create the best composite shot among them in post-production.
Few settings are better suited to drone photography than the outdoor amenities at apartment complexes.
Not all water parks come with a view of the ocean, but this one does!
