A Brighter, Better Workday

Built-in shelf lights turn the whole wall into a conversation starter.

Most of us don’t wake up on a Monday morning feeling particularly excited to go to the office, but that might change in the workspaces of tomorrow.

Situated next to a stocked bar, this huge table makes it easy to keep both the coffee and the ideas flowing.

Last spring, we highlighted some of the amenity improvements we’ve seen in offices since the pandemic. This month, we’re spotlighting—pun intended—the aesthetic and design touches that make office spaces brighter, warmer, and better to work in.

Furniture and fixtures that match the floor help to visually expand the space.

Gone are the cookie-cutter cubicles and boring gray carpets of offices past. Not only can bright colors and unique décor add personality to a workplace, but they can also inspire creativity and stimulate productivity!

Adding “pops of color” in the same hue as the company logo brings personality to a space while keeping the focus on the brand and its work.

Open-office concepts have been around for a while, but the rise of hybrid work has inspired even more ways for everyone to work comfortably, no matter the size or setup. Many workplaces now feature collaborative and individual work setups in the same larger space, often alongside an amenity like a TV, ping-pong table, or kitchen.

Is this table set up for a meeting or for a ping-pong match? Why not both?

Even small conference rooms and corridors have received an upgrade. Murals, decorative lighting, and greenery brighten the walls of windowless interior spaces, bringing the outside inside.

The red ceiling lights and blue accents scattered throughout this room are tied together by the blue and red tones of the wall art.

A mix of wood paneling and greenery, as well as a unique light fixture, adds intrigue when moving between floors.
